Summer school credit recovery sessions for students at Ballard Memorial High School who failed a course required for graduation will begin Monday, June 1, and will end on Thursday, June 25. Summer school will run Monday-Thursday, 7:45 a.m.- 1:45 p.m., with breakfast and lunch provided. Bus transportation to drop spots also will be provided if needed. 
 
Students will complete math and English courses first, and if there is room, we will enroll in science, social studies and arts and humanities. Students must have a yearly average of at least 50 in the required course to attend summer school. 
 
Parents of students in need of credit recovery will be notified by either phone or email on Tuesday, May 26, and Wednesday, May 27. There is no fee for credit recovery this year.
